Youth Watching The World Changing!Climate Action Initiative by the frontline youth for Pakistan's Mountain Communities
To empower Indigenous and frontline communities through technical and knowledge partnerships — enabling them to lead climate adaptation, advocate for localized policy implementation, and harness local innovation to protect their heritage and livelihoods in Pakistan's mountains.
Building a Climate Future From the Mountains
By combining scientific rigor, remote sensing data, and indigenous knowledge, we work to protect our heritage, build local capacity, and ensure that mountain voices shape national and global climate policies.
Pakistan Is on the Frontline of a Crisis It Did Not Cause
The northern mountainous regions of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral are warming at nearly twice the global average rate, placing our landscapes, ecosystems, and communities in immediate peril.
Our landscapes, from glaciated mountains to coastal plains, face unprecedented risks. Glacial Lake Outburst Floods (GLOFs), changing monsoon seasons, and high-altitude hazards are no longer future projections — they are lived realities for millions of people. We have a moral and scientific duty to act now.
